By using freedomthroughveteranassistance.com (the “Site”), operated by Freedom Through Veteran Assistance (“FTVA”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
FTVA is a directory, not a provider
FTVA provides a resource directory and connection platform. FTVA is not a law firm, medical provider, financial advisor, or government agency, and is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. A listing in the directory is not a guarantee, endorsement, or recommendation, and does not create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, or any other professional relationship. Directory partners are independent providers; FTVA does not control and is not responsible for their services, availability, fees, or conduct. Always confirm credentials, scope, fees, and fit directly with any provider before engaging them.
Not for emergencies

The optional Find Help tool uses artificial intelligence to suggest directory partners based on the description you provide. Suggestions are a starting point only, may be incomplete or imperfect, and are not advice or endorsements.
Accounts and truthful information
You agree to provide truthful, accurate information when registering, applying, submitting requests, messaging, or leaving reviews, and to keep your credentials confidential. FTVA may suspend or remove accounts, listings, requests, messages, or reviews that violate these terms, are unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or that FTVA reasonably believes threaten the safety or integrity of the platform.
Reviews and submitted content
Reviews must describe your own direct experience truthfully and respectfully, without confidential legal or medical information, personal data about private individuals, threats, or unsupported allegations. By submitting content to the Site you grant FTVA a non-exclusive license to display and moderate it in operating the platform.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site and directory are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FTVA is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site or from any engagement with a directory partner, and FTVA’s total liability shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
